Growing Vibrant Catholic Schools and Strong Catholic Leaders

CatholicLeader Academy is a competency-based leadership development curriculum founded on the core beliefs of our Catholic faith, as expressed in the words of Micah 6:8… “Act Justly, Love Tenderly, Walk Humbly with your God”. These core beliefs provide a platform for the many Leadership Competencies that are developed in learners grouped by school community team. This team-based approach collectively engages educators, administrators and students. Peer mentoring further elevates the CatholicLeader Academy impact.

CLA is research based and outcomes focused, developed by a highly experienced team of educators, faith, business and community leaders. Development of Academy school community teams is accomplished through five separate programs. CLA develops disciples who have the courage, competencies, and connectedness to better share their talents with students and others around them.

Immersion Leadership Program

is a nine-month intensive, transformational program for school principals and key school community team members that helps each member expand their leadership capacity as faith driven leaders and brings the team members together, building trust and engagement through developing a School Excellence Plan.

School Excellence Planning

takes the School Excellence Plan created during the Immersion Leadership Program, engages other school team members, parents, and parish leaders to develop a robust School Excellence Plan encompassing all elements of a multi-year strategic plan. As required, a mentor with strategic thinking skills will be paired with each principal to help guide the process.

Core Leadership

is a full school team 2 day+ program led by the school’s Immersion Program graduates. The program brings key leadership principles and best practices to all remaining school team members, building a more collaborative team connected through shared vision, values, culture, and the sharing and deepening of our Catholic faith.

StudentLeader Academy

is a program designed by student leaders to help other students learn about core values and leadership through engaging exercises and activities both in and outside of the classroom.

Marketing Playbook

is a guided program that leads school teams through the development of a comprehensive marketing plan beginning with easy-to-use templates. The program greatly improves school messaging impact focusing on school advantages. The outcome is accelerated enrollment growth.

This cutting-edge training propels school teams to increase their capacity to meet the demands, challenges, and opportunities of a high-performing school. The experience has proven to be powerful, faith-filled, and transformative for our GRACE System Schools.
